Neighborhood View is meant to give the Investigator a quick view of all indicators in a time range (usually one day), grouped by identity. To get started:
  1. Click on the Neighborhood Tab
  2. Select a date using the calendar controls on the bottom of the Neighborhood View. The first calendar control selects the start date, the second calendar control selects the end date. Generally, you are looking at one day at a time.
  3. Click the All Data button

You are now looking at a structure that contains repeating layers of indicators, each layer corresponding to an identity. The structure starts at the right and goes off the screen far to the left. From left to right is the "Z" axis. From top to bottom is the "Y" axis. From foreground to background is the "X" Axis. Indicators in the same column belong to the same system. Indicators in the same row have the same semantic value (for example, "unauthorized" means roughly the same thing for all systems).

3-D visualizations require review from more than one angle. To get a feel for the size of the visualization space, click END,E REV,B REV, then BEGIN. Try the ROT buttons to better understand each layer of indicators.
